Today, Canadian citizens aged 18 and older have the right to vote in federal, provincial, and municipal elections. This is known as universal suffrage.
Elected on 19 March, the delegation left for London on 25 April. Its' goal was to find out what assistance Newfoundland might receive from the British Government.
