Patrick Tasker, 1839
Patrick Tasker was one of many Lowland Scots who migrated to Newfoundland and Labrador in the 19th century. Born at Greenock, Scotland in 1823, Tasker arrived at St. John's in 1842 to work for the merchant firm Hunters and Company.
