Fishing vessels tied up at Gaultois Fisheries Ltd. fish plant at Gaultois, south coast of Newfoundland, circa 1968-70. Fish plants like this, usually processing fresh-frozen cod, were largely beginning to replace the salt fish industry by the 1970s.
