MV Christmas Seal
Newfoundland Tuberculosis Association X-ray vessel Christmas Seal entering Twillingate harbour under command of Captain Peter Troake of Twillingate. Built at Fairhaven, Massachusetts, U.S.A. in 1943, it was a familiar site in the Newfoundland outports for years. The Christmas Seal was owned by the Newfoundland Tuberculosis Association.
