Lockheed 14H2, Trans Canada Airlines, Torbay, 1942-1948
In 1942, Canada and Newfoundland agreed to provide a commercial air service out of Torbay. The first flight took off on 1 May and was operated by Trans-Canada Airlines (renamed Air Canada in 1964).
