Argentia, c. 1942-3

Entrance to the navy side of the Argentia base complex. This gate is located on the "Neck" and is just below the four fuel tanks on a plateau entering the peninsula, commonly referred to as the Marine gate. The access to this gate was very strict and a picture pass was required for entry.
