Governor Sir Humphrey Walwyn, 1941
Newfoundland and Labrador Governor Sir Humphrey Walwyn headed the Commission of Government for most of its existence, from 1934 to 1946. He was succeeded by Sir Gordon Macdonald, who remained in office until 1949.
