St. John's Harbour, ca 1762.
This painting depicts Admiral Colville's fleet entering St. John's following
the recapture of the town from the French in 1762. Entitled The British
Fleet entering St. John's harbour in 1762, it was painted by Dominique
Serres sometime after the event.
