Admiral Sir Murray Anderson
Murray Anderson (1874-1936) was appointed governor of Newfoundland in 1933. In this photograph,
taken on Government House grounds in August 1934, Anderson is entertaining Ramsay MacDonald, the
prime minister of Great Britain. Front row, left to right: Prime Minister Ramsay MacDonald,
