Remains of hall D at L'Anse aux Meadows.
Hall D more or less as it appeared when found by the Ingstads. The dwellings were between
18 and 28 metres long and averaged 4.5 metres in width, with slightly bowed side walls and
straight ends. They were built of sod and the roofs supported by a wooden frame.
