Buried House, Winter Storm of March 1995
This photograph shows the snowfall around L'Anse au Loup on in the Labrador Straits after a storm in March 1995. Notice how close the top of the snowbank is to the power line. One house in the nearby community of Red Bay had to be evacuated during the storm because it was completely buried and the roof was about to collapse.
