Quarrying Tools from Fleur de Lys.
These quarrying tools were used at different stages during the quarrying process. The
three linear tools on the left are chisels and the two triangular shaped tools on the right are
wedges. The wedges were probably used to outline and incise the soapstone bedrock during
initial extraction. The chisels were primarily used as shaping and finishing implements and were
used after the soapstone was detached from the cliff face.
