Fleur de Lys Soapstone Quarry, Locality 1.
The Fleur de Lys soapstone quarry, Locality 1, exhibits over 200 extraction scars on the cliff face. These scars are found both above ground and below the surface. This area is located in the eastern side of town, north of the road. This locality extends northwards approximately 200 m, with evidence of quarrying activities all along this area. Most of the scars are adjacent to one another, enabling easy extraction.
