Iceberg in the Narrows of St. John's harbour
Iceberg in the Narrows off St. John's harbour.
In the spring, icebergs commonly float close to the coast and into harbour entrances. Iceberg-viewing has become a popular tourist attraction, but icebergs can also present a real danger to shipping and vessel movement.
