if I wanted to cobby with them in their cobby-house. 1966 PHILBROOK 141 A very popular
diversion is 'playing copy house.' P 210-69 Let's play copy. C 71-5 A cob is a playhouse
in the woods, roughly built. C 71-45 Whenever the girls played house they would refer to
it as 'playin' cobbies' or'playin' cobs.' 1972 MURRAY 120 Girls often held their
'copyhouses,' '[cobby] houses' (i.e. playhouses) in the rocks just above the dash of the
sea.
