cobblestone n OED ~ 'water-worn rounded stone.' Attrib cobblestone wall: the wall of a dwelling or other structure built with round stones collected from a beach.
   1897 J A Folklore x, 204 Cob or cob-wall, in Devonshire and Cornwall, denotes a wall built of a mixture of clay and straw, but in Newfoundland one built with round stones and clay, which, however, is more frequently spoken of as a cobble stone.
