   2 1987 Evening Telegram 24 Oct, p. 14 The inshore fishery was poor during the caplin scull and through the summer but picked up during the fall.

   [1963] 1988 Evening Telegram 16 June, p. 6 Weather-wise Newfoundlanders could sense it. The fog and drizzle this past three or four days added up to one singular thing. It was 'caplin scull' weather.
