corks and leads. A net improperly 'brought to' will not fish properly and is a waste of
time and material. 1986 FELTHAM 67-80 Gill nets knitted during
the winter were fitted with head-ropes, floats, foot-ropes and weights... The process was
called 'bringing to' a net.
