obtained by the fishermen on the Grand Banks and in addition to the rock species a
variety of the Greenland cod is caught, much the same in size, but with a mottled skin.

moderately cold water in Trinity Bay, White Bay, Fortune Bay, Placentia Bay and the
various deep arms of Notre Dame Bay, the deep water area between Bonavista and Cape Bauld
and the deep water off Labrador.
