   1960 Assoc Am Geog l, p. 274 The codtrap berths were graded choice, prime, seconds, and fly, in that order, according to the run of fish taken from them... The fly berths provided poor catches even when the [Labrador] coast experienced a good run of fish. Although the fly berths represented the lowest grade of berths, they indicated places where the cod approached close to the shore and where a trap could be set.
