   1981 SPARKES 175 Another [man] placed [the logs] on a bench of rollers which fed them to another saw called the Edger. The man who operated this saw was called the edgerman. He did exactly that. He trimmed off the rough edge of the board or plank and passed it on to the cut-off man.
