to the word. A sick person describing his feelings will say, 'I seems terrible droll.'
When trying to show a servant some proper method of doing work, she will tell you she is
'not used to them droll ways.' 1925 Dial Notes v, 329 ~ Queer feeling. 'A
droll head' (when ill). 1937 DEVINE 19 ~ Unusual; odd. A sick person may say 'I
