	Anti-Confederate Side Your name for this activity is AGNES CURRY. You oppose Confederation with Canada. You do NOT want Newfoundland to become Canada's tenth province. These are the arguments you use: I'm a proud Newfoundlander. I'm proud of our strong, tough, friendly people. I like our way of life here. I'm proud of our history and heritage. For nearly 400 years, Newfoundlanders have made a life for themselves here. We have our own way of doing things, our Newfoundland way. If we join Canada, everything will change. We'll lose our special place in the world. Newfoundland will never be the same again. Our history and heritage will be forgotten. Our traditions, our ways, our unique customs will be lost forever. We can't let that happen just for the sake of some Canadian dollars. We can't sell out our proud heritage. We must defeat Confederation to preserve our special Newfoundland way of life.
