You do NOT want Newfoundland to become Canada's tenth province. These are
the arguments you use:
I'm worried about our special Newfoundland school system. If we join Canada, our school
system will be wrecked. Right now, children in Newfoundland attend schools their parents
choose based on their denomination. We have 6 different Christian school systems. They don't
do things that way in Canada-only have public schools and Roman Catholic schools. We don't
want to lose the schools we have. We don't need Confederation. Our schools are so important
for all Newfoundlanders. We can't let the Canadians destroy our schools and the proper
education of our precious children. They'll want us to change the way we run our schools.
We must oppose this Confederation idea.
