These are very brief sketches of some residents of and visitors to Ferryland beginning with William Sayre, Fishing Admiral in the summer of 1597, and continuing into the 19th century. The names and information were taken from a variety of sources. Chief among them are documents compiled by Peter Pope, and the private records of Dorothy Agriesti, a native of Ferryland and unofficial historian of the place.
