(similar sense). Liquor produced by pouring water into a recently
emptied rum barrel.
1973 Daily News 2 May, p. 4 "Swish":
Into the barrels from the Store / So much hot water you would pour / A three buck deal,
but now it's more / Swish will cost ten dollars. / Liquor soaked into the wood / Drawn
out by water as it should / A swishy product makes that good / Swish will cost ten
dollars. C 75-130 Water [is] put in a rum barrel and left to stand. The alcohol comes out
of the wood and forms swish.
