1984 WRIGHT 65 I was working on the
whipline, strapping the panned pelts together in bunches of fifteen, to be hauled aboard
by the whipline. 1987 Evening Telegram 9 May, p. 15 [tape transcript] 'There's a
barrel here,' I said, 'and everything belong to my motor is in this barrel and,' I said
'it got to go up' [on deck]. 'All right boy,' he said, 'put it up.' 'Hold on,' I said,
'send down the hook and I'll strap it and let it go up.' He sent down the hook, I got my
barrel and hoisted it up on deck.
