1891 PACKARD 415-16 Great Northern Shrike. Not common at Fort Chimo. Breeds there. Young, unable to fly more than a few rods, were taken by the hand at that place, June 30, 1884. Said to be common in the more southern portions, and there known as the 'Silky Jay.'
