1971 NOSEWORTHY 240 ~ An old word meaning 'Salvationist,' and used when talking about a member of the Salvation Army. P 257-79 Church of England people on Change Islands when I was a Corps Officer there would refer to us Army people as Salvationers [and also] as an adjective: 'He's a Salvationer man.'
