Eskimo and Nascopi
Eskimo/Nascopi, author unknown, ca. 1861. Early depiction of Eskimo and Nascopi: Indigenous people were known to live along the coast of Labrador and appeared in the court records in 1826 and 1827. An extensive trade in fur was carried on with the Indians in Esquimaux Bay and nearly as far north as the Moravian settlements.
