In 1751, the frontage between Blancs-Sablons point and point Grincedents, by four leagues in depth and the islands opposite was granted to Michel Fortier for 6 years (1752-1758). An ordinance of 25 Sept., 1754, annulled this Concession on the ground that it was within the limits of the Baye-Phelypeau grant. |
