Innu hunters waiting for caribou, ca. 1910

The Upper Churchill Falls hydroelectric project flooded Innu burial grounds, campsites, and ancestral territory. It also destroyed habitat belonging to caribou and other wildlife Innu hunters had depended on for generations.
