This room is the principal reception room of the house and contains
a number of items from the 1829 inventory including the large mantel
mirror surmounted by the royal arms, two gilt pier tables with mirrors
and a number of fine rosewood pieces.

Among these are two games tables and a loo or round pedestal table.
The tortoise-shell clock on the mantel is likely French and may date from
the first half of the 19th century.
