Outer Battery Fencing.
Fencing constructed above the Outer Battery in 1998. The initiative for this protection came from work by the Geological Survey that highlighted the history of avalanches and rockfalls in the area. This demonstrates the impact that baseline data can have on planning decisions within municipalities.
