Lance Point Rock Unvarnished
1991,
Serigraph, A. P.,
34.5 x 77.1 cm

This is a silk-screen print on heavy paper or cardboard; this printmaking process, also known as serigraphy, allows Christopher Pratt to make detailed and subtly coloured images using many layers of silk-screen ink. Lance Point Rock is a barren outcrop, covered in snow. The land is reflected in the water surrounding it, which enhances the image's feeling of icy calm. © 1998 AGNL. |
